POLYETHER POLYURETHANE FILM AND BAGS - Conforming to Navy Specification SS507

1. All material is capable of passing water leachable tests for halides, sulfur, and a surface test for mercury.

2. We provide a Certificate of Compliance (COC) as required by the purchase order with each shipment.

3. We provide test reports with each shipment. However, the test reports can be on any like material (same color and chemical composition) produced by the same manufacturer within the past 4 years (no more than 4 years between date of test and shipment to the Shipyard).

4. The test report shows satisfactory results of water leachable chloride, fluoride, bromide and sulfur testing. The concentrations of each shall not exceed 250 ppm. Concentrations shall be determined by method of ASTM-D1246 (bromide), P512 (chloride), D516 (sulfur) and 1)1179 (fluoride). Alternate method of ion Chromatography to ASTM-D-4327 is authorized.

5. A test report shall show surface concentration of mercury and mercury compounds shall not exceed 10 ppm. Concentration shall be determined by the methods listed below. Note: Alternate Mercury Test method to ASTM-D-3223 is authorized.
